Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars

UnmannedConscientious Projector will screen Unmanned: America’s Drone Wars on Thursday, January 9, 7:00 p.m. at The Armory Center for the Arts. In his latest searing documentary, investigative filmmaker Robert Greenwald examines the tragedy of the innocent victims of U.S. drone strikes in Pakistan. The Brave New Films production tells the stories of the drone strike death of 16-year-old Tariq Aziz three days after he testified at an Islamabad conference about the killing of his cousin; Rafiq ur Rehman, who suffered the loss of his mother and hospitalization of his children from a drone attack; and Brandon Bryant, former USAF drone sensor operator. Legal questions and geopolitical ramifications surrounding the drone program are analyzed via candid, in-depth interviews with top government and military officials and noteworthy authors and journalists.

A community discussion will follow the film. Admission is free and the facility is accessible to disabled persons.
