Summer Film Series at All Saints Church Debuts with “I AM”

May 24, 2012

Starting Wednesday, June 20, at 7:00 p.m., Conscientious Projector’s first ever Summer Film Series at All Saints opens with Tom Shadyac’s resonant and uplifting reflection on the human condition in these uncertain times, I AM. Tom, who will speak in the Rector’s Forum on June 10, asks two questions in the film, “What is wrong with the world?” and “What can we do about it?” then calls on some of the world’s great thinkers for direction and inspiration. The series features a “best of” sampling of documentaries that Conscientious Projector has shown in the past year and a half with our partners at The Armory Center for the Arts. Other selections include The Economics of Happiness (July 11), Climate Refugees (July 25) and Home (August 15), subsequent dates and titles to be determined. Join us for popcorn, good conversation and some excellent movies suitable for audiences of mature teens and older.  The films are free and will be shown in the Forum at All Saints Church, located at 132 N. Euclid Avenue, Pasadena, California.
